Award represents the 2nd year in a row that Kazan Networks takes home a Best of Show award from Flash Memory Summit.

Kazan Networks Corporation is pleased to share that it was selected for the Best of Show award for Most Innovative Flash Memory Enterprise Business Application at the Flash Memory Summit, being held this week. Kazan Networks, partnered with 4 other industry leaders, developed a storage solution based on the new NVMe over Fabrics™ standard.

Kazan Networks and Newisys showed a storage system nearly ready for production, including six of Kazan Networks’ new “Magma” NVMe-oF™ bridge adapters installed into a 2U / 24 SSD EBOF (Ethernet-attached Bunch of Flash). This combined system delivers over 15 million IOPS (I/Os per second) and over 60 gigabytes / second of bandwidth, making it the world’s fastest such solution.

The Newisys NVMe Fabric Storage System model NDS22482F is designed for No Single Points of Failure (NSPOF) and consists of a fully integrated rack-mountable chassis occupying two rack units (2RU) of space and including:
- Up to twenty-four (24) U.2 NVMe SSDs supporting single x4 or dual x2 PCIe 3.0 interfaces,
- Single or dual and redundant NVMe fabric modules supporting up to three (3) full length x16 PCIe 3.0 bridge adapters each, and
- Dual and redundant AC or DC power supplies with cooling fans and independent power inputs supporting loads of up to 1,500 Watts each.
